Lana Rhoades’ Kid, also known as Lana Rhoades’ Baby, is a series of memes and discussions centered on adult film star Lana Rhoades and her baby that began following her pregnancy announcement in June 2021. Three weeks after giving birth, Rhoades addressed the many pregnancy and baby-related memes that had been created about her on a podcast. initial announcement, due to her previous history of adult entertainment, which notably spawned the meme I Hope Mom and Dad Don’t Find Out.

Origin

Lana Rhoades announced her pregnancy to the world on June 1st, 2021, when she posted a picture of her ultrasound to her Instagram[1]. The photo was later removed[7] after memes about the baby and her pregnancy began to circulate, with many mocking Rhoades.

On June 6th, 2021, the user @MMAThanos[2] commented on Twitter that her baby would “come out like a water slide,” which was a common theme in her pregnancy memes at the time (shown below).

Additional memes about Lana Rhoades’ pregnancy appeared in the weeks that followed, with two different video memes appearing on June 22nd, 2022 and July 2nd, 2022, respectively. The first, depicting a camera being dropped into the world’s deepest hole, was posted and captioned by Twitter user @JoJo21762493[3] as a “POV of the doctor trying to find the baby” (shown below).

The second video, which uses Call of Duty gameplay, shows a man falling from the sky, spawning in, and landing on top of the player who is recording the interaction. The video, posted by Twitter user @BKid248,[4] is captioned “Lana Rhoades’ baby coming out of the womb,” referring to her years of adult film acting (shown below).

Lana Rhoades was on a podcast on July 23rd, 2021, when she mentioned the many memes she’s seen from people, briefly going over them with the other hosts on the show. Tic Taker raps that[5] took the podcast clip, added references to the memes mentioned by Lana, and gained over 71,000 likes in one year for the clip (shown below).

After the baby was born in January 2022, memes about the baby’s features spread online over the course of the year as people tried to figure out who the father could be, since it was never revealed and Rhoades stated that she wanted him to remain anonymous.

On June 20th, 2022, the Tik Toker W1LL14M[6] uploaded a TikTok of Lana and her baby, Milo, having a fake conversation about who his father is, as June 20th was the day after Father’s Day in 2022. The video poked fun at Rhoades by making reference to the large number of actors she worked with throughout her career, and it concluded with the Guy Holding Up Fingers meme (depicted below) (shown below).
